The National Museum of Wales (the Museum) was established by Royal Charter in and continues to be registered as a legal entity and charity under this name. During however, the Museum changed its public name from the National Museums & Galleries of Wales to ‘Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales’. The Auditor General for Wales undertook a review of the National Library for Wales’s governance.
